Beginners Medallion lap quilt.
Starting 18th January, Friday mornings 10.00 -12.30
A lovely quilt measuring 50ins x 50ins designed for the complete beginner or those who want to polish up on their quilting skills.
The course covers several techniques: piecing over papers, foundation, strip piecing, hand and machine quilting.

The English Quilt.
18th Jan Friday 1.00-3.30
A quilt whose design has been influenced by the quilts from the Victoria and Albert museum collection. The quilt is double in size and involves a variety of techniques including lots of foundation. It begins with a medallion centre which is surrounded by 6 ins squares. This is most suitable for the sewer with some experience of patchwork.The course involves homework. This is a good stash buster as it uses lots of different fabrics
