I have sourced these wonderful sturdy cardboard bag boxes and filled them with some of the basic essentials you may need to make any of Dandelion Designs projects. The box contains red check and linen fabric , Red and cream felt, 2x cotton a broder threads, a wooden thread spool , my very own wooden buttons a collection of ric rac and threads and a pattern to make a needle case. These stockings are just lovely to make, they use up all your scraps and give you an excuse to go shopping for tapes and ric rac. I originally made the large one and most students groaned at the thought of filling them so I now give you the 18" size with opportunities for you to enlarge the pattern to whatever size you would like. You can buy the tapes and ric rac for the stocking in the Ric rac and threads section

These garlands are so easy, great fun and quick to make. You could recycle old shirts and dresses, mix up your colours or even use Linen or calico. The fabric must be a 100% cotton/linen, woven, not printed, it cannot be too thick, a cotton dress weight is fine. It must tear easily, fabric often tears one way better than another!! Got the right fabric? Right oft we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our dear Little Ruby is a very pretty Advent Calendar Doll. Her dress has 24 little pockets to store chocolate coins or small gifts, one a day leading up to Christmas Eve when you can then hide, in the back of her dress, a present or pyjamas ready for the big day. Don't forget to check out her friend Robin, an Advent Teddy with dungarees with pockets!!!

I just love decorating my house at Christmas and never get wrapped up with all the expensive designer hype. I have a lovely collection of vintage paper decorations which are getting a bit tatty, so I came up with this lovely alternative that should last forever and forever and will give not only my kids great festive memories but all my millions of grandchildren to come!!!! It's easy to make so get cracking!

This advent calendar has twenty-four little pockets disguised as beds, with a dolly asleep in them, well only the dolly's head actually. It has bought many a smile for my four children, not forgetting the tears when a child has got the wrong pressie. I vary the gifts from rubbers, pencils, hair-bands, chocolates, beauty products, brooches, even tickets for the panto etc., culminating in a larger gift on Christmas Eve. I would love to say it's easy, but you do need skills with the rotary cutter. Approx size 42" x 32"

This is a fun Christmassy applique wall hanging with a few twists and turns. Each block denotes a scene from Christmas carols and songs but comes together to look like a familiar Christmas story. Its nice to make in that each block can be used as an individual wall hanging. This quilt is more suited to those with some patchwork experience.
The quilt measures 38 ½" x 46 ½"

A really quick, easy, teddy wall hanging. Great for a newborn baby, child or teddy lover. You could even make a label to go around the neck saying babies first Xmas, Welcome to the world or Bobbies room. Make if from fleece, denim, felt, blanket or towelling, all gives a different but lovely result.
