A very useful hang up sewing tidy easy to transport from sewing room to room

A large and roomy bag much like one Mary Poppins may have had! Mine has been made form all recycled fabrics but it will look just as lovely from patchwork fabrics. I am making more samples and will show you soon. Bag handles will be available to buy very soon.

This is such a useful little bucket for holding all your sewing things. It has seven pockets on the outside and four more on the inside, wow! What more could you want? Nice and easy to make so off you go to that fabric stash!!!

I thought we might like to treat ourselves to a little heart on Valentines Day! They are quick easy and fun to make.

This pattern contains the templates for eleven pin keepers one of which commemorates the Royal Wedding!!

This is a truly simple bag to make and it's ideal to carry your finished quilt to your groups for a 'show and tell' or to display at the local quilt show. Another must have for the dedicated quilter. This has been made with vinyl but a strong cotton fabric would also be suitable.

I think sewing pouches and needle cases are like shoes, us girls just cannot do without them!! So here is another one, lots of pockets and hidey-holes and even a photo frame to put your favourite picture in.

This is a soft and pretty quilt in a bag, much like a quillow. It is very easy to make, especially if you use the already pre- patched fabric you can now buy on the net and at quilt shops. It is ideal for picnics, the beach, and babies. 

As cup cakes are so popular at the moment with Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson cooking them all over the place I thought that us sewers could not be without, so here we have it, a cup cake needle case, pin cushion and scissor keeper, great for using up all your scraps.!!! 

Named after the lovely clips I used to decorate the bag.
Lots of patchwork and Haberdashery shops are now stocking bag accessories, but if you have trouble finding them just e-mail me. It is nice and easy to make with a special little twist that makes it unique. If you do manage to get plasticised fabric for your bag, it really does sew quite well, just give the machine an oil and a new needle. 

This is a nice and easy bag to make with an unusual fast technique. It looks great made out of the patched fabric from Moda or a piece of candlewick or chennille. It measure approximaetely 18” x 20” so holds plenty of fat quarters!!!!! 

Another girlie must have, perfect for quilting weekend retreats.

This can be made from any type of fabric but the new plasticized ones from Moda look the best. Reasonably easy to make, a little zip here and a bit of binding there, but with a nice glass of red wine to help you,you should be fine. 

This is a lovely little folder to hold your notebook pens and emergency sewing kit. It opens out to show pockets, scissor keepers and needle case. I made it from wool mix felt, which are much stronger and more stable than the polyester felt. Lots of hand applique, and blanket-stitching, a little treasure to make. This is a lovely sewing pouch based on a design used in the navy. It involves one zip and the use of bias binding, but is still reasonably easy to make. It could also be used as a jewelerey roll or make up bag. Open ended zips for this pattern are now available on the special notions page.

This bag and quilt were an inspiration from Whitstable, where the beach huts and scenery were breathtaking. The bag has pockets for magazines, suntan lotion, and mobile phones, oops do not forget the chocolate. The quilt is just for the memories of glorious quilting days with friends. Quilt measures 15" x 22" approx. 

This is something any sewer shouldn't be without. A folded pouch to house all your lovely sewing bits and bobs. Made from dyed blankets and recycled pockets with a quick and easy needle case and thimble holder, just lovely. 

This is a really handy little bag to know how to make because it is very quick once you have mastered the basics. I have included lots of diagrams to aid you along the way. The pocket does involve a bit of red work which you really should be able to master one evening, so plan your week, a day buying the fabric, an evening doing the red work, a morning preparing a nice meal for the family later,( always keep them happy,) the afternoon making the bag, an evening at your quilt group, showing off, and guess what ,the next day you need to go shopping again to check it works!!! Bliss. 

This is the companion to the Sewing angel pouchette, it is specifically designed for you to take to workshops, where there is limited space and you do not normally need your large mat and rule. It was great fun to make out of the new wool felts that you can buy everywhere. It is another 'must have' I am afraid, won't take you long, promise.! 

Oh I did have fun making these, we have a pincushion, (who has been in the sun too long, or the tea!) An angel glasses case, and a needle case with a cute heart pocket for a small pair of scissors. They are quick and fun to make, great for quilt fairs and presents (that's if you can bear to give them away.
